The best thing in life is....

The best thing in life is....LOV and friends! Love is probably the best feeling you can receive and give.Without love there wouldn't be anything, every single thing is created by love. Even the bad things come from love, for example, the love for destruction makes bombs, the love for power makes money, and the love for territory creates war.Although the love I'm talking about is the good one, the one that makes us be blind and just be simply crazy. The love that makes me feel incredible and that I'm in another planet. That is one of the BEST things in the world.

Friends are like family but better, we get to chose them. I personally couldn't live without my friends, they are everything to me. I never keep anything from my friends, I think the probably know me better than I know myself. Not only that, but they are always there for me when I need them. Friends help you when you're in need and will always be by your side no matter what. Friends simply love you no matter what. A friend is like your brother or sister, but even better.

Rotoball Difficulty

8th Grade RotoBall from mistermark on Vimeo.

During this rotoball project, some people had certain difficulties while doing it. When I was doing it I had trouble tracing the roto girl. Well, it wasn't trouble but it was simply boring. Tracing the same little dude over and over again is really tiring. Another thing I personally didn't like, was converting the ball. It was difficult because I had to put a lot of detail so that people could see what the artifact was. If I wouldn't do that, then no one would get confused while seeing it. As you see, there wasn't that much difficulty while doing it, most of it was just boring.

rotoball

The video our class did actually impressed me alot. I totally didn't expect it to come out that great since I believe we didn't have much time to be that detailed, but appreantly we did. I can see everyone put their best effort on doing a good job. There were just small details we could have changed like how some videos lasted a bit too long. For example, there was one that the ball had already left the scene but you could still see the little dude and the backround. There were also some that their persons weren't very visible because it was the same color as the backround.

Comment:
I just want to congratulate everyone for doing such a good job. I know it took a lot of everybody's pattience but the final project turned out amazing. Rodrigo, thanks for everything. The music is great, well, everything you did was great.

Identity Play

Us, teenagers, all have certain type of communaction net work. It could be either my space, facebook, hi-5, twitter, or MSN. Some of us actually have more than one. When I post things on my profile, I'm communicating to mainly my friends. They are the ones who are constantly checking my updates. Now that I think about it, maybe friends of other friends might be checking my pictures and maybe some information too. Maybe the friends of my friends can be stalkers or something like that. I personally don't have any information about where I live or what school I go to, in all I don't have any information about my personal life.

Internet in the Home

Us teenagers use internet at home all the time. We use it for homework, but most of all for chatting and comunication. The film we have watched was defineatly produced for parents and teenagers as well. It was produced by a very famous TV channel in the United States. I feel the parents are the ones that mostly viewed this docummentary, but teens did too. Most of the commentaries made in this movies were probably from teenagers with problems of an addiction to the internet. The voices that are left out in this film are the ones of teenagers who do spend time on the computer, but it's not their only priority.

Winter Break!

Finally, we had vacation! It was extremely exciting and fun. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. We stayed in Vallarta during the whole break, that was one of the bad parts of the vacation. My family and I spent christmas dinner at my house. It was pretty cool! I got a few good gifts. Most of them were clothes though. During the morning, I had to pretend I was excited because Santa came. I didn't expect a huge present, but I got a new camera that is great! I really love it!!
After christmas, more friends arrived and it was so much fun. One day I went to the beach with Courtney. We were totally crazy that day! We took so many pictures under water, we looked so retarded. Another day, I went with Debora and did the same thing, but that day we also saw a friend named Reid and had lots of fun! We swam and swam all day until we got tired. We went home, changed, and then went to a cocktail party at Adriana's house. We met all her cousins and had lots of fun.

On New Year's we went to a friends house. A lot of other friends such as Debora, Rita, Courtney, Billy, Juan Carlos, Marco, Paul, Dani, Feris, Axel, and Frank. We spent time with the family for and also spent the coundown with them, but later, we went to the Marival and had a party at the disco. We danced until about 3:30, well that's when my parents picked me up, and my feet hurt so bad. I wore heels so my feet were sort of swollen! That night was probably one of the best ever. I had so much fun and will never forget it. Winter vacation in all was great and I really loved it.

Me, Prisci

This post is going to be all about me! I am 14 years old and live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was born in Mexico City. I lived there until I was 7, then I moved to Los Angeles, California. I lived there until I was 11. That is when I moved to Puerto Vallarta. Right now, I'm in eighth grade in the American School. I have a brother that is 2 and a half years old. My birthday is March 3. I have about 5 best friends. Their names are Debora, Adriana, Ximena, Courtney, and Hope.
I have two favorite sports, soccer and tennis. I'm not very good at neither of them but I still like them a lot. I practice each sport about twice a week, at least. I love going to school, well not really. Only because I get to see my friends and talk. Everyday to me is totally different. Sometimes I feel down and others I feel extremely happy. Two words that to me have a lot of meaning are peace and love. If there wasn't peace anywhere people would go crazy and without love we wouldn't exsist. I try to spread that to everyone I meet. People say I'm very polite and nice. I try to meet people before I judge them but it's sometimes hard.
For my future I would like to be a doctor. I feel it's a great profession because we get to help people. Doctors also make a lot of money! :D When I grow up I want to get married and have 4 children. I will name them Paulina, Santiago, Sebastian, and Debora. I want to live in a city, a big city. Like Mexico City or Los Angeles. Well I have to go now, Bye! :)
