Me, Prisci

This post is going to be all about me! I am 14 years old and live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was born in Mexico City. I lived there until I was 7, then I moved to Los Angeles, California. I lived there until I was 11. That is when I moved to Puerto Vallarta. Right now, I'm in eighth grade in the American School. I have a brother that is 2 and a half years old. My birthday is March 3. I have about 5 best friends. Their names are Debora, Adriana, Ximena, Courtney, and Hope.
I have two favorite sports, soccer and tennis. I'm not very good at neither of them but I still like them a lot. I practice each sport about twice a week, at least. I love going to school, well not really. Only because I get to see my friends and talk. Everyday to me is totally different. Sometimes I feel down and others I feel extremely happy. Two words that to me have a lot of meaning are peace and love. If there wasn't peace anywhere people would go crazy and without love we wouldn't exsist. I try to spread that to everyone I meet. People say I'm very polite and nice. I try to meet people before I judge them but it's sometimes hard.
For my future I would like to be a doctor. I feel it's a great profession because we get to help people. Doctors also make a lot of money! :D When I grow up I want to get married and have 4 children. I will name them Paulina, Santiago, Sebastian, and Debora. I want to live in a city, a big city. Like Mexico City or Los Angeles. Well I have to go now, Bye! :)

My music

Well, I will tell you about the songs we made in computer class again. I personally didn't really use much effects. I made most of them. The ones I made were mostly words and random sounds. My classmates, also did that, but also downloaded effects from the computer. Somethings I did was mute part of my effects and raise the volume on others. The ones I heard from my class, was probably the same. They lowered the volume on some parts, and raised it in other.

I heard about 9 songs. In all, they were preatty good and had a lot of beat and rythm. Some had more effects than others, but there were a few with no effects, which I liked a lot beacuse the person that made it had to really think about what they were going to say or do. The ones that had only effects were really cool too because they had to find effects that would match with each other. I enjoyed listening to all of them a lot because you could actually kind of see the type of music people like.

In computers class we did music, only using sound effects and our voice. It was kind of hard for me because I couldn's really decide what effects I wanted to use, and where to put them. I probably could have done a better job with using effects instead of my own noices. For the eight graders next year, I think they should use more sound effects and mix it with their noices.

Mash-ups! (:

On computers class, we've been doing mash-ups. On my team today I had Ximena, Mahonry, Hope, Marifer, and Sebastian. Hope's mash-up was really cool. It had a lot of songs and various effects, it wa really creative. Mahonry's mash-up was very well done. It had so many songs, but they all mixed perfectly. Ximena was absent all week so she didn't do a mash-up. I didn't hear Marifer's nor Sebastian's for some weird reason. In conclusion, the two mash-ups I heard, were very creative.
My mash-up I feel was very cool! I can maybe improve it by mixing other songs that have different beats. Another way I can improve it is by maybe muting parts of other songs and making it higher. I personally reallt liked my mash-up.
